Edie Adams passed away on Weds, Oct 15 at the age of 81. In addition to an amazing career on TV, Broadway and film, she worked hard to find and save as much Kovacs material as she could.  She was full of life and always working on some project or or three when I spoke with her.  She found me and this website shortly after it launched in Oct 1996, through her son Josh, and has been a friend through all those years.   I had the pleasure of meeting her  and spendng time with her a few years ago at the Buster Keaton conference in Iola, KS, and will always treasure a late, late, late evening during that week when she, Eric Grayson, Martha Jett and I sat with her and watched Kovacs tapes and talked.

There are hundreds of kinescopes, boxes of original typed scripts, original videotapes, photos, drawing, props, etc etc etc related to Kovacs' work – and the work Edie did with Ernie – that would certainly have gone into the wastebasket, dumpster or Hudson River after the shows aired had it not been for Edie.
